Another good bait for sunnys is the small shell hinge from mussels. I pull off the small shell hinge from the mussels after eating them for dinner. I use them right away or store them in a small medicne bottle. Keep then in the frig or freezer until you need them. There is just enough meat to put on the hook and its pretty tough. I've caught 4 sunnys on one hinge meat. One cast and you;ll hit have a sunny almost as soon as it hits the water. I got this idea after being at my father's house and not having any fresh bait, so we tried it and it work great!
