Singletary Lake, Millbury, MA Fishing Report
9/7/14 - Singletary Lake
With the BASS Nation club vs club tournament coming up, my bud Paul and I had planned to represent Avid Anglers. So we headed out for the an 8 hour session to look some area over. The weed kill last month certainly made this place barren. Some spots were ok, some water we eliminated. The bite was tough, although at the end of the day the numbers were there, just tough to find the quality. We each had probably 10 Largemouth, and 10 Smallmouth. Paul's best was a 3lb Largemouth. My best was a 2-1/4lb Smallmouth, and 1-1/4lb Largemouth. Our best 5 was about 8-1/2lbs. Lots of 1lbers, and smaller. Bonus fish included a Pickerel, a Bluegill, and some Huge Calico was one being a new personal best at 1lb 13oz.
