8/16/09 - 3rd MAFISHFINDER Tourney - Billington Sea - Plymouth, MA
First off, Great job by everyone who caught keepers. Because I certainly stunk up the joint today. Fished with my good friend Vinny, who also had a tough day. Long, hot 6 hours for us, not to mention the Spanish Jet Ski Stunt Team. Just didnt figure out a pattern all day. Worked the shallows, deep, and in between. Topwater, senkos, tubes, swimbaits, crankbaits, rattle traps, drop shot, flippin', frogs, spinnerbaits all came up with no keepers. The only thing I could catch anything on was a Rooster Tail, but mostly the wrong species. If this was a Yellow Perch Tourney I would have done great. My fish count was 7 Yellow Perch, 2 Bluegill, 1 Sunfish, 1 Largemouth(5in), 1 2lb Pickerel, and my first ever Pike(it was only 6 inches, lol). Lastly just a bravo to Johnny for running another sucessfully tourney, well done brother.
